6 things you should know about candles

1. Always trim your wicks, this encourages an even burn 

2. Burn safely. Never leave a burning candle unattended, always burn away from anything flammable and out of reach from children and pets 

3. Always allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glassware before extinguishing, preventing tunneling. This may take 2-4 hours  

4. Keep candles and hot melted wax away from children and pets 

5.  Avoid draughts, draughts decrease burn time, cause uneven burning, smoking and diminished scent throw  

6.  Do not burn for longer than 4 hours, allow to cool for 2 hours and trim before relighting
